Wheelchair for Whitnash Pensioner
We helped as disabled pensioner buy a new wheelchair. The wife of the wheelchair user had been struggling with a 10 year old second-hand wheel chair purchased from the Red Cross.
The resident later told us:
"I just wanted to say thank you very much for your grant. I genuinely could not be happier, This is the first time that I have been able to afford a new wheel chair in over 10 years and its absolutely fantastic.
I can not wait for the slightly warmer weather and i shall be using it everyday.
Thank you again."
